How to use it in the sun
Charged by the sun, no wires in your car
The base sits where your car gets the most light: the dashboard. Sunlight through the windshield charges it during your everyday drives, so there is no cable trailing to the charging socket and nothing to remember. On cloudy days, or if the car stays parked in a basement, top it up with the USB-C cable from your car charger or any phone adapter.
Why Hanuman ji on your dashboard
When Lakshman ji lay wounded, Hanuman ji flew through the night and carried the whole Dronagiri mountain to bring the Sanjeevani booti in time. This murti shows that moment: the protector who never arrives late. Devotees keep Bajrangbali in the car for a safe journey, and many families do a small puja to place him there the day a new car comes home.
The murti
Hanuman ji is shown in flight: the green Sanjeevani parvat raised on his right palm, his left arm sweeping back, tail curled high, red sash and dhoti flowing behind him. He is painted in saffron, deep red and gold, with fine detail on the golden mukut, the jewellery and the green-and-red dhoti.
Set up in under a minute
- Place the base on a flat, level part of the dashboard.

Questions devotees ask
Will he stay floating while I drive?
On normal city and highway driving he stays afloat and keeps turning. On a very sharp brake or a big pothole he may settle onto the base. Just lift him and float him again, it takes a few seconds.
Do I need to plug it into the car?
No. The base charges from daylight on the dashboard. On cloudy days, or if the car stays parked indoors, charge it with the USB-C cable from your car charger or any phone adapter.
Is it right to keep a murti on the dashboard?
Many devotees keep Hanuman ji on the dashboard facing the road ahead, as the guardian of the journey. Keep him on a clean, flat spot and wipe him with a soft dry cloth.
What if it arrives damaged?
Every piece is packed in a padded gift box. If anything arrives broken, message us with a photo and we will sort it out.
Good to know
- Keep the base on a flat, level surface away from the edge of the dashboard.
- The base contains strong magnets. Keep bank cards, watches and medical devices such as pacemakers away from it.
- For display and devotion, not for abhishek. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth.

Dispatch time
In-stock orders are usually dispatched within 1 to 3 business days. Before dispatch, each piece is checked for cracks, chips and finish, then packed.
Delivery time
Delivery time depends on your location. Metro cities usually receive orders sooner than smaller towns and remote areas. During Diwali, Navratri and Ganesh Chaturthi couriers are very busy, so please order a few days ahead if you need your murti before a festival.
Delivery charges
Any delivery charge is calculated for your address and shown at checkout before you pay.
Packaging
Idols are wrapped in bubble wrap and foam and boxed so they do not move in transit. Plated and painted pieces are packed in a gift-ready box inside the outer carton.
Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking link by SMS, WhatsApp or email.
Receiving your order
Please make sure your address, pin code and phone number are complete and correct. If a parcel comes back to us because of a wrong address or because nobody was available to receive it after repeated attempts, we will contact you to arrange re-delivery, and the extra shipping cost may be charged.
Damaged in transit
If your idol arrives damaged, tell us within 48 hours of delivery and we will send a free replacement. See our Refund Policy for details.

Damage, returns and refunds
Every murti we send is checked and packed by hand, but idols are delicate and journeys across India can be rough. If something goes wrong, we will put it right. Please read this policy before you order.
1. If your idol arrives damaged
If your order arrives broken, chipped, cracked or with damaged plating, tell us within 48 hours of delivery. Send photos of the product and the outer box, and an unboxing video if you have one, by WhatsApp (+91 63986 03274) or email (help@chardhan.com), with your order number. Once we have checked it, we will send a free replacement. If the same piece is out of stock, we will refund you in full.
Please keep the original packaging until the issue is resolved, as the courier may ask to see it.
2. Wrong or missing item
If you receive a different product, size or finish from the one you ordered, or something is missing from the box, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos. We will send the correct item at no extra cost.
3. Returns for other reasons
You can request a return within 7 days of delivery if the item is unused and in its original packaging with all tags and inserts. Contact us first so we can share the return address. Return shipping for a change of mind is paid by the customer, and the refund is made once the item reaches us in the same condition.
For hygiene and religious reasons, an idol or pooja item that has been used in pooja, abhishek or a pran pratishtha cannot be returned. Consumables such as dhoop, chocolates and other food items in gift hampers cannot be returned once opened.
4. What is not a defect
- Small differences in colour, shine or finish compared with the photos. Brass, plating and hand painting vary from piece to piece, and screens show colours differently.
- Small variations in measurements, usually up to a quarter of an inch.
- Natural darkening of brass over time. This is how brass ages and can be cleaned with tamarind or lemon.
- Stands, cloths and props shown in photos. These are for styling and are not included unless listed in the box contents.
5. Cancellations
- Orders cancelled before dispatch receive a full refund.
- Once an order has been dispatched it cannot be cancelled, but you may return it under section 3.
6. How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are made to the original payment method. Once processed, they usually reach your account within 5 to 7 business days, depending on your bank. For cash-on-delivery orders, if offered, we refund by bank transfer or UPI.
